As a friendly reminder, please make sure you download the latest firmware update and apply it your M4. The latest update will increase performance and fix several bugs
Wth is going on! I do not want one of these but damn! 64.99 is definitely worth it! And 129.99 for a 128Gb, I just sold my 128gb for 165 here on OCN a couple months ago.
Despite what everyone has heard recently, these drives are still the shiznit. Updated firmware has solved any issues. And they spit out those firmware updates fast if anyone is concerned of future issues.
How well does one of these work in something like an Asus EeePc netbook?
I hear a lot about them dying quickly, but it's a decent price.
I wouldn't put it in my PC cause I don't really need it in that, it's pretty quick as-is.
The netbook runs a 5400rpm 160GB drive in it and 1GB of DDR2, so it takes forever to do anything.
With the exception of TVs, Amazon.com doesn't price-match with other retailers (including those who sell their items on our website). We do, however, consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices on everything we carry.
that's a great price, was going to get some more SSD's soon too. Amazon has had the Corsair 240Gb's at a fluctuating price from $279 all the way up to $315, so catch it on a good day and grab a bargain.
I dont think Newegg ships to my country but goodluck to you lucky folk who can order them.
It is good to see some decent prices in SSD's

i've seen it happen a number of times when they get enough price match requests. it's mainly the people @ slickdeals who keeps sending them in. amazon doesn't say it in their PM policy but i can assure you they do.

talked to a rep earlier b/c i had ordered one from amazon over the weekend... they wont pricematch... will just return it when it delivers tomorrow.. bought one from newegg.. :] ran into this before people on SD or OCN had noticed it.. was procrastinating on newegg LOL
rep chat won't work on any price-matching besides TVs. someone higher up gets to decide if they can override the price on the item page for XXX amount of hours.
The only thing you can do is scroll down to the middle of the product page and click on the link that says "Tell us about a lower price?" and enter the URL and price. If there are enough request and Amazon is feeling generous, they will lower their price to match Newegg.
Well, no luck....five minutes for him to "see what he can do", to no avail. So just spam the "found a lower price elsewhere" link and do a PM every 8 minutes or so. lol. good huntin!!!
