Do you get past the BIOS screen and just get a black screen with a blinking cursor?
I was stuck at 4.4 and recently got it booted above that again only to have it get stuck on the black cursor screen, instead of hitting the power button and shutting down I tried the reset and it booted into windows and has been folding since. I haven't rebooted yet but it may work for you, basically make it reboot but not go all the way down once its stuck.
I sent ASRock a very detailed submital to their tech support about 2-3 weeks ago on this and haven't heard back.

I have had that before... it was the machine trying to boot from a USB flash drive, for some reason it made this the default boot device after a cmos reset and would then get stuck, so I just change the boot sequence back. At the min I have no cursor at all just black screen.

Try this ;
-for 4Gb RAM i would try 1.08v~1.1v/Dram voltage 1.55V (you can go straight to 1.08v and Dram voltage 1.55v no problem )
you can also try;
-Disable (thermal throttling/spread spectrum/Intel virtualization technology <= if you don't need it)
-try different LLC level

Amazing.. I think I have tried all of the above except the memory setting before now with no joy at all, however I have just tried all of the above as you suggested and we are in ... not sure what setting did it settings are as follows

Offset +0.70v
VVT 1.09v
Memory 1.56v
LLC set to 3

Not sure what made the difference? But thanks all the same!

I had similar problem on Asus board last year ,when you clear Cmos and restart it would mess up Boot option priorities (advanced/hard drive BBS)
