OK OP, here's the deal in case if you're still not getting the message.

No one think you're cool for what you did. As a matter of fact, this thread only shows how much of an immature spoiled brat you are.

Com'n man, all the haters need to relax....it's his product purchased with his money...I believe the phrase it "He shall do as he pleases with it" ......................

its like taking your old cell phone that is out of date and has been annoying you for the last year of your contract...getting your new phone...then happily destroying your old phone.... I love that part thumb.gif

Nice. I prefer to actually use the card for something. I use my 8800GTS G92 as a PhysX card, and to see how hot I can get it.

I once hit 119'C on the card by manually stopping the fan. I've taken off the shroud, painted it, put copper tape on the heatsink, lapped the heatsink twice, mirror finish, used new heatpads.

Runs crysis 2.. but it's not like I'll need to use it anymore than as a PhysX card.

The g80 and g92 both folded for months (100% usage for months straight) with no problems what so ever. I still have the ECS 8800 GTS and the EVGA 8800 GTS 320 SC as back up cards and have nothing but love for the g80/g92 8800 series cards.

And ECS is a cheap brand and it still did wonderfully.

I'm disappointed it wasn't donated to folding or something as well, but it is his money...

How is it different from someone taking their overclock just a little too high and frying their motherboard? Or attempting a low rated psu/budget build and frying everything? Because it was a mistake? It wasn't a mistake...those who go to Walmart and buy a computer out of a box and don't know crap about it would think "now why would he go in there and change all those settings and fry a perfectly good computer? I could have used that computer..."

To each his own. But for the record...I would have really enjoyed that card mad.gif
