Hi

I was hoping someone here might be able to help, I am trying to find a touchscreen/fancontroller that i can use for a custom build or suggestuion for an alternative
for the moment let assume money is no object.

So what I'm i after:

a touch screen that will be used to :
display temps (water and air)
control fans
i would also like it to have
media buttons .
and be full color

now i have seen a few that can do some but not all how would you get around this ???

I agree with liquidzoo recommendations.

Just food for thought,...if money isn't a problem the most awesome solution would be to mod a full sized touch screen into the case. Then write software to control a separate fan controller from the touch screen. You could have whatever features you could dream up. But...now it's the engineer in me talking, that's probably not practical.

That is more or less what I'm thinking just using a 5.5 inch screen, as the guy I'm doing this for is a pain in the ass and want everything his way even if not possible

If you want to create a custom program from scratch.....

If you don't have a programming/math background, you can probally use Labview to create a program to do this.

If your abitious, C# would be the best programming language.

Just know this is a very abitious project from the programming point of view. Your probally looking at like 80 hours of your time, unless you have experiance doing this type of programming.

If you want to re-use someone elses program...

There is already some "make your own widget" type of software. I can remember any specific program...but there is stuff already out there.
