Man... my folding is taking a dirt nap for some reason...
Stuff keeps failing or stopping after 1 wu again...
Looks like I may have to revert to safer drivers.. *doesn't make me a happy camper*

Oh it's very stable, i have it OC for near 2 years now, but this rig is going back into the closet this weekend, my I7 3930k arrived today and hopefully my board/ram will be here by friday. I asked because i really wanted to check this new rig out in folding after i mount it.
Im also new to folding and a way or another ill try it out

Says you completed a WU but received no points. Check to make sure your user name and passkey are correct within your SMP client. Also, I'm not sure your CPU can complete BigAdv WUs on time, as such your should only run advmethods instead.

I'm currently running advmethods, as per your earlier suggestion, but they seem to be taking just as long as the bigadv. I haven't changed the configuration file since I first signed up for the competition, never hurts to double check though.

For file size you put down [normal], shouldn't that be [big] instead?

Indeed, every Linux tutorial here says that should be set. I just can't think of anything else to try besides installing another distro. Just trying to troubleshoot

You will not see a change until your current WU finishes. When you change the flags it changes what WUs you get, not the one you are currently working on. After it finishes that WU, then see what the next one it gets is.
