Feb Build $1200ish - Suggestions pls? - Page 2

To be fair this is still a budget build as well, one that I've technically gone over on already. I can spend 1500time if needed but spending 1200would allow for a great audio setup which is needed. I already have the samgsung 226bw...key/mouse are both stock and can be upgraded in the future.

Yeah, you're basing it off what the manufacturer said. Do you even know their true intentions? It is company nature when they are beaten in something to hype about a new release. If it actually ends up being that Kepler beats AMD for MUCH cheaper, I'll bite my tongue really hard. However, it is way too early in the game as far as Kepler goes.

Right now im seeing GTX 580s selling for $550.00 + which I can't afford..one would assume the new gpu line up by Nvidia that's coming soon would be as expensive if not more?

In regards to components that are currently available on the market, can anyone pls make any suggestions or provide feedback on a build that I would like to have by March 10th? I do need to purchase audio hardware and would be able to do so if the budget doesn't exceed $1300 max.

Thanks -azeem Can you suggest ddr3 4gb x 2 ram that's good? I've read posts about the hyper 212 making it difficult to fit the ram. Its pretty much my last concernfor the time being.

Here is great low-profile ram: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231416

I would recommend the new samsung ram that everyone is loving. Plus it is so low profile that it won't interfere with any cpu cooler.

^+1 Love GSkill RAM but the Samsung's above are the first 30nm kits out and they overclock like banshee's,run super cool and are cheap.

As for the rest of your build, looks pretty good, except maybe the case and PSU.I feel there are some better, cheaper options out there. The case is mostly personal preference, but a quality 750w PSU can be had for less.
