Fake intellimouse explorer 3.0?

Thread Starter
I recently bought a intellimouse explorer 3.0 off ebay. It didn't come with the original packaging but it is brand new. It came from hong kong and it has chinese letters at the back of the mouse. I'm wondering if its a fake and if I should sell it off or not? The mouse feels kind of weird for me but maybe that's because its a new mouse.

Also I heard that I should overclock my mouse for better performance but I don't know whats the best way to do so, anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know about the mouse being fake, but are you trolling about overclocking your mouse?

you can overclock the usb polling rate
standard is 125Hz for this mouse I think, you can go as high as 1000Hz... it definitely makes the mouse more responsive or precise in FPS games,

about you mouse being fake, I don't know, but I have seen many fake MS products (like X360 controllers)

It's called bumping the polling rate with external programs.

@ OP take a picture of the back of the mouse.
well some people do call it overclocking the mouse you raise the polling rate which makes the mouse more smooth and respond faster. Alot of older ones cant be adjusted so you have to do it in windows but newer ones usualy have switches to let you change the dpi.

that should help you with raising poll rate and you guys calling him a troll have some crow to eat tongue.gif

Yes thats what I was talking about, the polling rate. I heard it makes the intellimouse much more responsive at 1000hz.

Anyways here is the back of the mouse
