Dumb Question HELP

Thread Starter
OK.

I have a DS3 and a NUUO.

Do I need to hook the 20+4 cable to the 24 pin slot and a 4 pin 12v to the mobo.

I currently have onlythe 24-pin hooked and get POST, all leds and fans fire up but no video (the fan on the video ard does spin though)

I guess I'm asking what exactly do I need plugged into the mobo, power wise.

NUUO 550w
DS3
E6300
X800GTO PCIe 256Mb GDDR3

Thanks in advance

Um... as far as I know the 4-pin ATX must be plugged in. I have never done it any other way.

yeah, the 4 pin ATX power plug is what gives power to the cpu... w/o it you've got nothing

If its a 24 pin motherboard then you have the 20PIN and 4PIN together going into the motherboards ATX connector socket.
