I can take pictures of mine when I get home but right now this is how computer setup went.

open box holding the P5B mobo. remove everything from box it was shipped in, remove static bag from mobo, put mobo back in box. then for the hdd, cd, ps it sits on my desk right next to the box that the mobo shipped in

hey man it works that's the important thing an cardboard isn't a conductor though I'm sure I could get a little better cooling if I move it a tad closer to the a/c. that is about the worst part about it right now. that and I can't just leave it there when I'm done I have to pack everything up though that only takes about 2 min. but don't want someone to trip and break it.

now I just need the money for a case and I'm good. anyone want to donate?

I'm getting tired of using a screwdriver to turn the computer on and off whiel doing the oc testing. I have 4 of them sitting in my house but found out the cases for tandi's and full tower cases for a 486 don't work that well.

Lol damn. You have all that stuff and no case. Hoep you dont break any thing. There are some really cheap ATX cases out there just make sure theres a place to put some thing like a 80mm extractor fan on the back and its going to be better than a cardboard box.

Erm.. You can get a case for $25....

(Just use a dremel and mod it for better cooling..)

The 486 tower.. What if you make new holes for new mobo standoffs?

I am doin the same thing at the moment. Putting together a budget PC, and have everything but the case, getting it on friday, but I have everything hooked up and sitting on the cardboard boxes they came, but hate having to take it all apart and put it up. Don't have the same restart problem though, the board I have has a power and reset switch on the board, makes things really easy.
