900$ build, recommend me a good case

Thread Starter
Hey guys, im building a computer for my friend with a 900$ budget, and was wondering if you could help me find a good mid tower case.

I want to get him something that looks good, is affordable, and is upgradeable.

Any other recommendations for the power supply or anything else would be helpful.

Cooler Master Storm Scout (relatively small but great case)

Depending on your budget you can find a good deal on Corsair 600T and Corsair 650D (I recommend if you had to spend about 100-150 on a case)

Does he already have a monitor, speakers, and mouse/keyboard?

The Arc Midi and CM 690 II Advanced are two really good ones.

Well, if you're looking to go with an ATX board, the Arc Mini wouldn't work.

Sadly no, which is going to make it more difficult.

its going to be mainly for gaming and random stuff like that.

Im really stuck on the monitor and speakers.

Oh, I was actually referencing the post above mine, which was talking about the Arc Mini.

If you're looking at a single 1080p-ish display, then you can get a 6950 or a 560 Ti and it'll be plenty for gaming (I'd lean towards the 6950 for more VRAM). As for the PSU, the OCZ ZT 650W is a pretty good deal right now. It's fully modular and you get a $15 gift card a few days after purchase that you can put towards other components. I just found that doing a quick search so there may be better deals out there, but that is a more than decent fully modular unit at a good price (and you get $20 back in rebate).

Does he have a preference as to Intel or AMD?
