For $800, you could get an HP or Lenovo with i7 and better graphics. Nvidia 610M is slower than most laptop APU(integrated) graphics.
This $800 Lenovo Y570 is a much better value. The Y470p has even faster graphics (7690M is just a slightly-overclocked 6770M), 14" and it's cheaper by $50. http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/controller/e/web/LenovoPortal/en_US/catalog.workflow:category.details?action=init¤t-catalog-id=12F0696583E04D86B9B79B0FEC01C087¤t-category-id=C46D71ACFD7C4475B8E490358F8CA8C3
Anyways, like SM is asking.. why?!? We can't give good advice if we just have a vague sentence to go off of. IMO, "Basic use, light gaming" translates to i3/i5 and something with an AMD 6630M or Nvidia 540M; or an AMD A6/A8 with integrated or perhaps Crossfired. If that's the case, you could save maybe $1-300.
