Fan Controllers

Thread Starter
Hi

I've got a Gaming PC Machine, and I'm looking to see if it's feasible to purchase a Aerocool Strike X Fan controller.

A few friends mentioned that the control of Fan is better from the BIOS. I'm also reading reviews that Fan Controllers don't last long, some say LED goes off, or the date and time gets reset.

What are your thoughts?

Regards

Not to thread jack, but I was seriously about to hit submit on a post that was just along these lines lol. I wish I could provide you with some information about fan controllers but I am in the same boat as you are. I am looking for some information, so I'll wait for others to post and maybe we both can come out on top thumb.gif

i dont like the touch screen fan controllers they are clumsy and hard to use and they are hard to adjust the fan speed like you want. i have a a aerocooler fan controller but after about 6 mouths it stopped working. rma it and 3 mouths later is stooped agion.
so i ended up getting a lamtron fc6 controller and its been one of the best i have had to far. 6 mouths and it still works like a dream
this is the one i have

i hope this helps a bit with your decision

Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Lamptron products as well, and thought that even though the touch screens were quite attractive with their blinking lights, the reviews were that too many people had problems with touch screen fan controllers.
