I am fairly new to water cooling. The only experience I have is using a corsair H50 in my old build. Right now I have an antec 1200, with an i7-2600k cooled with a hyper 212+, I also have an hd 5770. I have 2 1tb hdd's in raid 0 and an ocz 60gb ssd as my boot up. I have no idea what parts to get that would work with my case. I'm using all the fans it came with, plus the fan the hyper 212+ came with. My graphics card is modded to use an old 90mm fan to cool it (it's held on by twisty ties) because the stock fan died. I have a 750w psu. What would be the best combination to efficiently cool my system. I want to do a single loop that has both my gpu and cpu. The only idea I have so far is using a dual rad mounted on the back of the case and have the original fans push air into that. I have a budget of like $400 but I would prefer it to be a lot less (working on a college budget here >_< ). What do you guys suggest? If you need anymore information or any pictures I'd be happy to provide you with either.

Take a look at this for some ideas. http://www.overclock.net/t/1144879/water-cooling-antec-1200-done-right

You might look into a xspc rasa kit to get you started.

One tragic thing with this case, is the complete lack of mounting points for radiators over a 120mm.
There isn't space for a 240mm internally at the rear as there isn't the clearance above and below.
I have use for too many 5.25" bays to be able to fit anything of use in the front either. A 240mm uses 2 1/2 of the front cages. So an optical drive, a fan controller & a dual bay res limits you to 240mm, provided you can stick all your harddrives out of the way.
There is a specially made Antec 200mm radiator that can be fitted under the top Big Boy fan. It's terrible unfortunately, it's aluminum and isn't a worth while avenue.

I've used L brackets coming out of 1 the rear 120mm mounts from the hardware store to mount a 240 horizontally along the top.
I've got a another 240mm mounted externally on the rear. I haven't wanted to mod my case as I don't think I'll be holding on to it for much longer.
There are some nice things you can do provided you don't mind modding the case a little.
Firstly add feet to the bottom of the case, remove the bottom drive cage, and dremel out a 240mm template and fit a radiator there. Personally I'd add some hexagonal mesh to cover the cutout. In combination with a 120mm on the rear you could definitely cool a CPU & GPU well.
What I've also seen but can't find the log for now which IMO is a great touch is dremmeling out a couple of tubing size holes in the side panel and in the bay area behind and mounting an external res there. It's vaguely steampunkish but just thought I'd throw that out there.

Do you happen to have any pictures of your setup?

Gallery is here.

It's still a work in progress. I'm planning on tearing it down tomorrow or over the weekend for cleaning and to add a support for the top radiator. It's secure but it's slightly sagging. I still need to spray the brackets and support black.
Personally I prefer this method for top mounting as there is space for airflow above the radiator rather than having it flush to case. This way the whole surface area is in use.

Thanks for the ideas, Seechay I was going to more or less make the same post. Same case, Same itch to WC.

Think I'll hang a 360 or 480 rad off the back and a triple in front or something, Don't think I'll have to utilize that big boy fan spot for a 240 rad but I might.

Putting it in the front is definitely tidier. I have four 3.5" drives and use another four 5.25" bays, I wish it was an option for me. I've tucked my SSD away and put a hard drive on the case floor but I still couldn't fit a 240 in there without a new pump and res. =( Ah well.
Looking forward seeing what you end up with jagz.

This will be mid spring at the earliest, would like to see what Seechay ends up with first. I like other people being the guinea pigs. thumb.gif and good read on the input stonetrap.

Well I won't be posting anything soon, I was just getting a rough estimate. I need to buy a new car first lol but this will probably be a summer project for me when I have some spare money. I'd really like to see what you do jagz.
