I'm just waiting a tad longer, purely due to Xeon E5 2011 processors and rumours of a couple more CPU's for the 39xx line.

Well it would seem as though the only real reason Intel is waiting to release new Ivy Bridge processers is to keep their clients happy who have a stockpile of SB chips, or have them currently in their products. I don't believe they would have ever imagined that the floods in thailand would have effected computer sales so dramatically. I don't think there will be a Xeon-E chips or new 39xx at launch. I would imagine that the regular Ivy Bridge Xeon chip will be pretty impressive as is.

Yeah the problem is that the price gouging and LIMITED competition in the HDD market is really hurting the REST of the PC industry. I think its time for OEMs to switch to SSD which has much more competition in the market.

Xeon March releases (not accurate).

I stand corrected. So what is the advantage of waiting on the Xeon? Are you going to get the lower priced one and throw it in a 2011 socket or get the one that is comparable to the 3960X and pay like $20.00 more?
