BDay In a Month, What Do I Want?

I am just that bored.. That and I dont know what to ask for...

My mom and step dad probably want to get me something or just give me cash I guess and the extended family normally still gives cash.. Its nice like that.. ANd then you always have the grandparents..

Check my signature for parts I already own and please dont post something stupid, like sell the stuff and send me the cash..

I already plan on getting rid of my gaming rigs PSU and picking up a better quality one. Along with getting rid of the 570 for a Kepler..
I also plan on swapping out the SB for an IB on my folding rig..

What more could a man want? Oh yea an actually living ,breathing girl friend.. Yea.. I got that too.. and she better buy me a present.. Weve been together for 3 years so I am still getting something after the present too..

I guess i could just ask for the PSU.. or the money to just buy one.. Was thinking about an 800w good quality one between $100-150..

Other than that.. I dont know.. Maybe wireless keyboard, mouse, head phones? I mean isnt there something better to buy lol...

I got a crazy Idea, and it's totally farfetched...but...

Save the money.

Oh no you sound like my gf!! Lol..

Its a great idea and I do not throw it to the side.. I am young 23 (turning 24).. I actually save 70% of my weekly paycheck and saved
90% of my tax return.. I have nice things and have spent a decent chunk of change on my computer (part grad present).. I guess saving more doesnt hurt.. I just like having my toys..

There coming up at $170 on Amazon.. and I think if i were to get a new pair they would have to be wireless.. My gf got me these and I would hate to replace something she got me.. But damn this console cord is like 10 feet lol

Okay, well here is what I would recommend.
First and foremost you'll want a new PSU.
Rosewill HIVE 750W Modular - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182133
CPU/Mobo are fine
Your GPU I know you're waiting for Kepler
RAM if you are able to, grab 8 more gigs.
Obviously cooling wise you're good.
Storage wise, you're good.
Audio wise, you REALLY ought to step up to some real audio.
Are you set on wireless?
And in addition you may want a sound card - Xonar DG is nice and cheap: http://tinyurl.com/7lufczr
The install process is easy too.
Keyboard, mechanical all the way really, but that's $100 or so, so maybe next time...

I've always wanted to walk into a room and have a bucketful of $100 bills fly to the ground like confetti.

I would agree that you need new cans, but with that you also need a new sound card and an amp smile.gif. A new PSU would be nice, My favorite are Seasonic, Corsair, XFX. Don't spend another $325-350 on a new IB CPU, you don't need it. What about a new desk or chair? Maybe get something more comfortable...

If it were MY MONEY, audio would be my number 1 priority, everything else is solid smile.gif

Edit: Or what about a water block for that 570? Or a bigger SSD?

I think having a reliable PSU is more important than audio.

Given his current setup I don't think he is anywhere near maxing that current PSU. But I agree that it is nice to have a dependable PSU.
