if you want to rest bobyparts on the pad, go for Razers Goliathus, you can rest your whole arm and a leg on it.
If you get the Extended: 920mm x 294mm x 3mm

I have a Steelseries Qck as well, and the only thing I dislike compared to the Razer one is the edging. The edging on the Razer mouse pad eliminates the fraying or separation that heavy use can have on a mouse pad, just my personal opinion. The Steelseries is also great though.

I dont like the kabuto... after going through a lot of gaming pads, I would choose a hard pad over a soft one every time. You should try the Razer Vespula, its a double sided hard gaming surface... I really like razer's double sided pads because each surface has a completely different feel/function, its like having two pads in one. You're sure to prefer one side over the other, and you wont know which you like better until you actually try it.

Disclaimer: I use a Razer eXactMat, which is a dual sided mat which razer no longer makes. I am merely assuming that the Vespula is the most similar to my mat.

Thread Starter
Update: My local Best Buy carried the Razer Kabuto, so I decided to pick it up and try it out. I didn't want to wait for shipping.
My thoughts: It's kind of nice but I was expecting more. The height could use an extra inch or two. The surface is a little weird to get used to. It has a very good grip to my desk, which I love. I'll probably end up ordering a QcK later on though.

Return that junk of a $20 pad as fast as you can and get the Qck. - I've used the Qck, it's nice(Definitely nicer than the Kabuto) but I went with (and currently own) a puretrak talent, it's a cloth pad as well.

I use my pc('s) for editing and gaming and whatever else may come up; the Kabuto started to rub and slide all over my desk just after a few hours of me owning it. Aside from that it felt very weird, and like a couple of the cheap pads that I owned previous to it. Thought I bought an off one, returned it and tried two more. After a week I gave up and moved on.

If you need something to hold you over, keep it, but order your Qck(Or whatever else you may be set on), it's good to have contingency, lol.

Just sharing my opinion and experiences, I'm sure some won't agree with me. I was browsing this thread and then I saw the Kabuto get mentioned, it probably serves a better function as an LCD cleaner than an actual mouse pad, ha!

Qck is a good mousepad but I didn't like it for some reasons:
You will get white spots, they're washable but don't like washing it every week.
The borders look like they will peel off
Too much movement resistance, I like smooth surfaces.
