the kamameter got 7 backlights, there are some intense backlights but there are also some mild backlights. it will give as much light as an light fan for some colors

but if you will wait and watch my worklog, i will make pics and a video later on when i will build it in

Ya, I have 2 DVD roms and 2 HDD coolers.....so the only thing I can really play with is the power button slot.....might try and move the power button to a vandal switch or something...???...

that could be an idea, to mod the power and reset buttons (with leds ofcours) into an sidedoor or a other place

but that's only if you want a 5.25'' fancontroller.... i say it's real handy imo...

tested a 120mm led fan of Tt with the KamaMeter yesterday and it was starting to run 1200RPM, ok nice, but then i lowered the RPM and i got it till 800 RPM wow it made zero noise, now that's some handy things if you want a quiet pc wil your doing something else your just doing small things on your pc. oh i can talk about this for hours... ! gotta go back to work...

Update 6 ! - DD-MM-YYYY / 06-12-2006 - (ALL PICS ARE CLICKABLE !)

so you guys, here a little (yes a little, the big stuff comes later ) update. Here i will show you how i made a mod into a 3.5" mesh of the 5.25" drive bay where the power button etc are in

So here is the 5.25" plastic bezel with the power/reset buttons/leds

Toook it apart to get started !

And here's my idea, only it's gonna be with 3 switches into the mesh

So here i tape 3 pieces of paper with the size i needs to be made (sort of ), it's cheap but it works

I got some foam left over from my KamaMeter box and come up with an idea (NOTE: this is a other mesh then i made, the one i'm using already has 3 holes made into them with and drill )

This idea comes from the fact that the holes made into the mesh are actualy to big so the buttons can turn in the mesh... instead of staying at it's place. but if i made the holes smaller the buttons wouldn't fit without bending the mesh..... so you know... with the holes the mesh is real easy to bend....

So i cut the foam so it would fit in the mesh

and this is how it looks like without buttons....

here i stick the button into the foam so i know where to cut and did this 3 times

to give you an idea

3 square holes made into the foam (the buttons aren't round at the back... and the holes need to be a bit smaller so it would fit right)

starting to look good

the front with the 3 switches in place !

and voila !

and come to think of it, if those switches would fit right away and it would be build you could see the wiring beause of the blue leds.... now you only would see withe foam lighted up blue because of the fans but no wires !

so this is it for now, as i said i order some sleeving (will be in like 5 days if i'm lucky). when i get the sleeving i'm ready to build in some fans, wiring, and the mobo !, then the Kamameter, some drives etc will follow thanks for watching

will be continued !
