Dude! Thats freakin sweet! I have been racking my brain on where to put some switches for my lighting. I didnt really want them to be in the front, but after seeing yours, it looks really nice! good job! Just curious, how did you cut the holes? Dremel, or drill bit?

Update 7 ! DD/MM/YYYY - 14/12/2006 (ALL PICS ARE CLICKABLE !)

So i got my sleevings kits in and started right away ! but i made an error in thinking that i could place the mobo after sleeving (well actualy i can but don't wanna cause then i can hide the wiring of the CPU fan correctly ). so only did a few things, but most of the wiring is been sleeved so when i get my CPU fan there only 2 or 3 more things to do

Sleeved the wiring of my exhaust 120mm fan. like 10 times better then naked wires !

here's the 5.25" drive with the wiring for the power/reset buttons + leds

And now it's sleeved ! still have to wait with mounthing this drive cause the front bezel (which i modded) needs the wires connected for the CCFL's and those i will get later (oh btw those need to be sleeved also )

This is how i'm planning to hide my wires. still looks a mess cause most of them aren't connected yet. and i still need to figure out on/in which devices or spaces i want to put the sensor

connected everything on my KamaMeter ! this device is so easy to install

the KamaMeter has an option that allows yo to control the volume with a knob. but you need to connect it with an pci slot and then with an extention into 'audio in' in the mobo. but if i'm gonna do that you will see a single wire thru the whole case because it's to short to hide it

the pci slot

]
audio in/out

i took it apart and will place it somewhere else so i can hide the wire propaly. i thing i got some ideas for it. then with the extention coming out of the case etc etc. you will see it in later updates

this is how it will look like, still need to put in the other devices and bezels

think it's gonna look great

maybe i will change the setup but for now it's good

will be continued !

Update 8 DD/MM/YYYY - 16/12/2006 (ALL PICS ALL CLICKABLE)

Ok, have been busy with the wiring of my case. and still had problems with the setup of the 5.25" drive bays cause the look of it just wasn't good enough for me

anyway i started on the managment of my wires, so when i will put all the devices in it it is plug and play but i didn't expect the complexity of wire managment

This was about already an hour of struggling with the wires (still had to do some sleeving)

The wiring of the KamaMeter (Fancontroller) i still need to figure out where all the temp sensors go on, i already have cpu temp (on channel 1) and ambient temp (on channel 4)....

btw notice the front bezel is of.... you get 3 bezels with this fancontroller, white, silver and black ! (of cours i'm gonna use black)

the connect this baby up was real easy (the users guide is only 2 pages with info you probably already know )

sleeved the 92mm fan-wires, looks real good

The setup for now... i usealy go with one 5.25" drive bay free between the DVD-ROM's because of the heat, but i don't like the look of it, and i still can change it later on. also have decided not to use the tool-box you get with this case cause i'm gonna instal an second Icage (or single fan) there.

all the fingerprints on the case

after 3 hours of work..... still need to do tons of hiding....

as you probably already know, the 'right' side where you can mount the 5.25" drives is one mighty place to hide your wires (or inverters), i think i can hide about 80 % of my wires there

the 2 remaining temp sensors of the fancontroller (sleeved and well ), you just stick them with some tape or gum (not bubblegum ) to a place you want to read your temp.... if anybody got ideas where to put them to, then shout it out ! comments are always welcome

will be continued !

thanks ! the wires are gonna look better when i stick them together but still figuring out where everything goes. hehe you're the only one posting got already 3500 viewers so people are to lazy to post or just don't like me (and still curious about what i do )

yeah the videocard can be a problem because the lenght of the wire, and i gonna go SLI eventualy so that would say 1 sensor on each card. and others say put it on your RAM... so now i have CPU, NB, RAM, GFX, HDD, ambient, enough then

also just ordered (20 min ago) some new hardware

- AMD Opteron 175
- Artic Silver 5
- Artic Silver Cleaner
- 4x 3 pin fan converters, this is so for the fans that are on a 4 pon molex...

still waiting for my sanding paper to lap my HSF but can't wait anymore , will be having them in 2 or 3 days feeling like christmas already
