I think people who are struggling are just those who don't explore and know the short cuts for a lot of stuff.
That's the problem I think these days, Microsoft has done spoiled everyone with a shortcut-less environment with start menu's etc all being in perfect mouse click sync. That people don't even know more then 3 Windows keyboard shortcuts. Now when Microsoft introduces a desktop environment where keyboard shortcuts play a big role in functionality, people reject it. Maybe Microsoft could recall all of its products and people could use linux a little bit, and understand the keyboard plays just as much a role as the mouse.

It would be like booting from any other removable media, slow but works, no seek time on memory makes up for a little bit of the huge performance decrease over a hard drive. But I have read somewhere that Windows 8 will be completely capable of running off a USB drive, something no other Windows is capable of without modification. Everything installed, saved, or downloaded is stored directly to the USB drive. So your capable of bringing Windows 8 with you and booting your own desktop environment from your own drive just by popping it in a computer and rebooting.
