Does sapphire approve overclocking?

Just wanted to know if i have any issues with my 2 sapphire cards and have to rma them, does sapphire support overclocking?

You should be fine as long as you don't remove the stock heatsink. Even then, I think you can still get away with it if you RMA them with the stock heatsink on.

RMA seems to be hit and miss with them. I had a decent experience with my 5770, but my friend had a bad one with his 6870. They gave him some trouble until he really started complaining. He also complained that they charged him for Return shipping.

I highly don't they would know that you overclocked your video cards. Especially since all the overclocking is done with software on your computer.

Correct, As there is no secret trigger built into the card to tell them.
No hard drives built into the card to give you away.LOL

It's going to be worded that any damage caused by overclocking is on you. However as others have said they don't have anyway of knowing or being able to tell if that was the cause. I wouldn't admit it to the tech's when filing a RMA...

Sapphire has an official overclocking called sapphire trixx so I think it's safe to say they support overclocking. And if you do burn up your card they should not be able to tell unless you modify it.

in my experience, its don't ask don't tell with sapphire. i even sent in a 6950 flashed to 6970 shaders for rma and they didn't give me any trouble.
