Why Windows 8 Will SELL SELL SELL!!!

I just had an epiphany!

I was reading about why Flash games are so popular, it's because they are so easy to use, no installation required!

With that as the leading thought, I figured, "Man people are so lazy, however, they also love convenience and things that are easy of use!"

Which is why I firmly believe Windows 8 will sell like mad, Windows is banking on this fact, ease of use!

They wanted a stylish OS that would OWN the Mobile world, goodbye Apple?

People don't like drastic changes nor do they like to relearning how to use Operating Systems...it makes things that were once familiar with become much harder to use. Windows 8 looks to very be tablet/mobile friendly/focused...but as for using it on the PC...I think it will fail. Windows 7 is still very good and relevant for most people. Microsoft doesn't have enough tablet/mobile market share to make a BIG hit just because of Windows 8..imho.

Microsoft really shouldn't try to over-change Windows when it's working fine....don't fix what is not broken...at least for PC.

Then again I could be totally wrong...you never know.

You can basically change the theme to be windows 7 as far as I've heard.
Besides, if they don't innovate their product refreshes will become stale and people will just stick to the older version.

I think it looks too mobile orientated also, it's like Microsoft is trying to force us away from desktops onto mobile devices. Also the Windows 8 logo looks stupid.

From seeing the interface - eh, I'm not crazy about the OS. I'll probably stick with 7 until support finally runs out for the OS in a decade or whatever.

Fair enough...but when it comes to the product itself and not just making money...Microsoft shouldn't accidently take a step backwards, when they think they are going forwards...like Vista or ME. True innovation is one thing...but a bad OS is a bad OS...regardless of how much you try to pretty it up. People will just stick with Windows 7 (like they did with Windows XP), if Windows 8 sucks...so either way...the product has to be good..not just "new" or "refreshed" for people to switch. Funny thing is Microsoft will make money either way...with all that manpower they have...it would be nice to hit a home-run, not a single when they release a product...that's all im saying.

But we will have to wait and see how this Windows 8 really is...maybe it's better than I am thinking...no idea. All I know is...a lot of people won't be happy if it acts and looks like a tablet on their PC....at least not initially.

I think some of you fail to see Microsoft's logic and plan here..

They clearly want to...

A) Dominate the Mobile Markets...

B) Appeal to Lazy Clueless Consumers

C) Appeal to Gamers (XBox Live is awesome on Windows 8, for sure!)

D) Bring out something new, so people will at least want to test drive it...

From a business perspective though, I see this product as a huge fail, there is no way businesses will install Windows 8 on the desktop, unless of course they are a tech business, and that's pretty much a given.

However, I could be wrong, I'm feeling rather convicted about my initial reaction and overview of the product.

My spouse is pretty much computer illiterate, but my children and spouse absolutely adored and loved Windows 8, truly.
