The M4 uses the Marvel controller. Lots of people hate on Sandforce, and I wouldn't buy them quite yet (with the exception of Intel). The M4 is known as one of the best SSD's on the market in terms of speed, and reliability.

These are two great info guides:

No, it uses a Marvel controller - this controller is usually regarded as more reliable than the Sandforce one.

Marvel is slower than Sandforce, but more reliable.

Intel is more reliable than Marvell, but slower than both of them.

You might also look into the price of a Samsung 830 64GB drive, that one uses a Samsung controller which is also somewhere in the middle sweet spot in terms of reliability and speed.

Here's the M4 for $80:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/768798-REG/Crucial_Technology_CT064M4SSD2_64GB_m4_SSD_2_5_.html

The only thing is, with a 64GB drive you won't be getting much games on there. That size is more suited for OS and programs.
