Dedicated to delivering premium power solutions, OCZ’s latest PSU was co-developed with twelve-time world champion Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel to meet the specific needs of fellow gamers in performance, stability, and ease of integration to reduce system downtime. Featuring individually-sleeved modular cables, the Fatal1ty Series eliminates unnecessary wire clutter for a cleaner overall presentation and superior airflow in high end systems that are packed with components.

I hope more power supply manufacturers adopt the idea of using individually sleeved modular cables.

The Fatal1ty brand name was never synonymous with quality.

I played for team Fatal1ty before. Pretty good.

EDIT: Single +12V rail for a 1KW unit? - No thanks. This unit, reguardless of it's 'quality' or 'output' has some, or at-least 1design choices that may not make this viable to their targeted consensus. (The +12V rail thing)
Not an appealing unit to me at all. Move along here folks.

I was expecting this to be OCZ's Platinum PSU seeing as they already have their ZX series.

Fully modular units, IMO are quite redundant. The 8-pin CPU, and 24-pin ATX mainboard connector will ALWAYS be used anyways. Doesn't matter if they are modular or not.

Not an appealing unit to me at all. Move along here folks.

1. "Targeted consensus" is either marketing jargon or you're just using big words where they're not necessary.

2. PCP&C, even before they were absorbed by OCZ, used massive single 12V rails as a selling point. Not sure why this went out of favor and became a bad thing.

3. It's not appealing to you, so everyone else should move along. I see how this works.

Then i can dumb it down for you. The practitioners of enthusiast computing that OCZ and the 'Fatal1ty' monikor are targeting is found to be redundant as the core aspect of the +12V rial design isn't what a majority of will come to accept as 'enthusiast grade'.

It isn't appealing to me. I stated my opinion. (Clearly).

I'm an enthusiast. I have no problems with single rails or multiple rails. I've never seen anybody else say, "I'm not getting that PSU because it has a single 12v rail," for what it's worth.

I know you said it wasn't appealing to you. You also followed it up with, and I quote, "move along here folks." So, like I said, you don't like it so everyone else should "move along." I'm just as opinionated as the next guy and probably more so, but that sentiment is just crap.

I just cant see high-out put units using a single rail. It's just a recipe for disaster.
