5770 eyefinity freezes

Hello , I just bought 3 identical screens for playing in eyefinity, but well when I'm running any game ( dead space 1, dirt 3, battle field bad company2 and bf3) I use low resolution and setting and the game will randomly freeze and crash to the desktop or sometime I even need to restart my computer , I'm pretty sure It's my 5770 that's causing the crash ( it was overclocked but I set the clock to default to be sure it's wasn't the problem) , When the game hang I hear a weird bug noize that never stops until I force the game to close ( ctrl alt del) I have the latest drivers from ati ; 12.1, also my windows 7 (64 bits) isn't genuine.
I have great cooling in my computers ( 7 fans) my gpu temps never get higher than 50 c based on the cataclyst control center
I was wondering if doing a fresh install of windows could help.. I heard a lot of rumors on the 5xxx series; espicially on the 5770 that have a lots of bugs.. I was thinking of upgrading to single a 6970 or a single 7970 to avoid the crashes that probaly comes from my video card ( will it helps?) I know that my cpu is old but I overlclocked it for months and I don't think the problem is there.. I tried bf3 and bf2 on a single screen, the crashes are less frequents but are sometimes thereThanks for helping me in any way! If you got questions go ahead

Here my specs:

3 x 23.6 " asus monitor ve247h
Ati radeon 5770 http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3283#ov
Core 2 duo e7600 @ 3.06 and overclocked to 4.03 ghz on air cooling
4 gb 1066 ram
ACTIVE display adapter http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815129011
windows 7 64 bits NOT GENUINE ( can it cause bugs or something? thanks)

thanks a lot

Try the lowest possible game settings. 5770 has only 1GB of VRAM.

I never found any of the bugs you say you have heard, but the AMD drivers are very sub par and can cause problems. I ran 5770's in CF for about a year. Sounds like your problem would be such a high resolution with very little VRAM. Try running the game on one montior and see if the game runs okay, but your problem seems to be the fact you dont have enough memory to calculate that much data across 3 monitors.

I aldready tried to play in lowest settings possible or on one monitor and freezes still happens but less frequently , I'm reinstalling windows and I will try bf3 on low setting on just one screen , I suppose that with a 6970 or a 7950 I won't have any problems because eyefinity doesn't recquire a good cpu like a i7 ( A slow dual core compared to a i7 on very high resolution doesn't make a big difference.. like 4 or 5 fps that's it I saw a lot of graphs) , I'm reinstalling everything and I'll keep you guys up , thanks
