I hear a high pitch beeeeep when I move my mouse.

I just got my new JVC RX700s yesterday, and they are awesome most of the time, but I am also hearing some extra sounds that I shouldn't be hearing, is it interference with my on-board sound card?
The most annoying thing I just noticed is a high pitched beep when I move me mouse. It is a constant noise while my mouse is moving and stops when I stop moving it. It's really quiet and I only hear it if there's no other sound going on but it's still annoying. Turning my volume up or down doesn't change the volume of it(even if it's all the way down), but muting it does get rid of it.
Second is a quiet slightly crackling sound (it's not really crackling, it's like...1 'crack' every like 3 seconds, I don't know how to explain it) I heard it when there are really quiet sounds going on, like background music on a show. This one I'm thinking might be imperfections in the source. Edit: yeah, it most likely is because I don't hear it on other things.

Will getting a budget sound card like a ASUS Xonar DG or DS or Sound Blaster Audigy SE (someone is selling 2 of these for only $8 in the marketplace) fix this?

Yep, that's exactly what it is.

I have a deathadder at 1000hz polling and I hear interference from my onboard sound.

I think a sound card will fix it. I don't see why it wouldn't. The only reason the issue is happening is because the onboard sound chips are right next to the rear I/O.

I had the same problem, however even when i had my Titanium and my Asus stx i still heard the problem. Then i switch keyboard and use the ps/2 connector for keyboard. Now i dont hear it anymore.

Now i am using onboard audio. No problems so far, So try switching your keyboard or mouse to a ps/2 connection.

I just put it in a different USB port and it fixed it, thanks for the idea. I still want to get a sound card though thumb.gif

I'm glad that things worked out for you!thumb.gif

Also, you should make a thread when you decide to pick a sound card and we will try to help you decide which one to pick.smile.gif

Until then, check OCN's Most Recommended Audio Products thread.

I have the same issue when plugged into my Front audio jack, the rear jack alleviates it for me. thumb.gif

*edit*

Seems you have resolved it.
