i am getting a new comp in a few days and i will get my new ram a few weeks later, so i was wondering if i could use my old pc-3200 ram sticks (2 gig) for now until i get the new one... is it possible?

is it ddr or ddr2? only ddr2 will work with it.

...I think that you will need at least DDR2 533 for this board to POST...What you described is standard DDR, not DDR2...So to answer your question...No the RAM will not work

You will need new RAM... otherwise you could always go with an AMD socket 939 build to keep that 2 gigs
You won't be able to get Conroe though, if that's what you want..

If you're getting the P5B-Deluxe though you will need DDR2

Corsair or Ocz, both have some good value series. Both clock pretty good, and produce decent scores on Sisandra
