I started my sandy bridge build with the corsair 600T on air and all was good, but as soon as I got back into water cooling. The 600T was ok for w/c but it was really meant to accommodate corsair's units and that's about it therefore I aborted the build.
One thing I wanted to do in this switch over is going fully modular, that means koolance quick disconnects at every blocks.
That way I can adjust tube length, add or remove parts at will without having to disturb anything else.
History: Went from 600T -> Fractal R3 -> Fractal XL -> Back to 600t -> Switch 810
I tried fractal design cases (2), but their build quality was so sub par, I never even transfer my components into it.
Motherboard standoffs didn't even line up properly! Good design, poor contracting.
I took delivery of the Switch 810 today and went immediately to work. It was quite beat up by UPS.
Upon opening, all was well. I took these pics as documentations for newegg incase I had to make a damage claim.
Here is the Switch unboxed and up against the 600T. Taller so plenty of room for push/pull for sure!
