here is a direct quote from zotac's website reguarding their z68 board

it's not the intel board the OP had in mind, but it appears that you CAN do something like that with the zotac board if you give up the wifi module. apparently you can reconfigure that port on the zotac board to function as either mpcie or msata.

It is a combo.

AFAIK all mSATA slots are also PCI-e slots.

This cannot be said for the opposite. mini PCI-e is not necessarily mSATA

uhh in lithuania there is no places to buy zotac motherboards.....
