Is it just me or it is impossible to get into a server? I'm getting kicked by PunkBuster right away.

Anyone else having the same issues?

Thanks!.

Punkbuster never works with pre release OSes. It was the same with vista and 7 betas and RCs.

That's a shame, but then again, there's gotta be a way around it, I've found people over at different forums claiming that they're running BF3 without a hitch (even when running the Developer Preview).

If someone knows, please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

So thanks to a member over @ eightforums.com, I was able to get it working.

Instead of doing the whole: PBSetup, add game, blah blah.

All I did was, download the new pbsec.htm to Origin Games/Battlefield 3/pb folder, and then ran pbsvc.exe from the main BF3 folder. Worked like a charm.

Just finished playing a match in Operation Firestorm without an issue.

EDIT: So to anyone having PB issues with Windows 8, just follow these steps.

I was having problems until I ran the pbservc in the redist folder. Works fine now.
