No offense man but WoW doesnt reall take skill, It may be fun sometimes but it doesnt really take skill.
Then you weren't playing your charecter....You were having your guild drag you through ZG/MC while you atuo attacked and watched some TV and stuffed your face. I play a rogue raiding and I can tell you that it CAN get borring, but thats only when everyone is sitting around waiting for others to get back so we can kill a boss. The boss fights are fun and getting to the bosses is fun. And yes, it will be mindless if you don't actually play the game, slaker.
Oh yeh, and in reference to others posts and PvP...it takes quite a lot of skill. I was never in a raiding guild until a month ago and although I do kill much quicker and have a touch more survivability, its basically the same thing as when I sported sub-par gear. You still have to play it just as closley as an FPS....
P.S.- I hate those people that go to raids and go and slack off while everyone plays just making the dungeon even harder (which is sometimes actually more fun). But you my friend are why raids fail. Takes like two healers to slack off and everyone dies. One tank to mis-position a boss and kill the whole raid. One rogue to pull agro and follow suit with the tank. If your gonna play the game, play the game. I watch South Park almost EVERY second while I play WoW...but I am also making sure that I get my part done.
Oh yeh, it also helps to be playing with a really enjoyable group of people. My guild is really freaking whacko and basically, we just joke around the whole time until we get to a raid boss where we all concentrate for the 5 mins and then go back to screwing around.
