Thread Starter
Hello again. I am sure there is a clear explanation somewhere if anyone would be kind enough to give me the link as what this all means. I know it has to do with unlocking but I ask because my CPU as been at ech of these readings one time or another doing my unlocking/overclocking adventures.

The 960T is an AMD processor that was sold as a quad core phenom II Thuban (hence T). It has two cores locked at factory though, due to either a defect in one or two of the cores or just to meet quota. With two cores locked, it registers as a 960T, with one or more cores unlocked it registers as a 1600T and if you get it closer to 4.0GHz with one or more cores unlocked, I believe it starts registering as 1605T. Lots of information in the thread I linked you to. thumb.gif

Now, if possible, I'm having trouble overclocking mine any and all info that you can provide with your overclocking may be able to help. Here is my help request thread: http://www.overclock.net/t/1223309/960t-oc-help-request#post_16604167
