xfx 7970 issues.

Hello, I just purchased the xfx 7970 reference card and im having a few issues. 1st issue im having is when overclock using MSI Afterburner it work fine but when i go to change the user the clocks and fan speed go back to stock even if I set up AB on the other user with the same settings. AB like resets everytime I change the user on the computer. Anyone know what to do there? Other issue is that When I go into MSI AB and change the 0 to a 1 to overclock further it doesnt let me overclock at all. All the sliders are greyed out. Any idea on why is doing that. Other issue is that ever since i got this card im getting random firefox and CCC crashing. Im surfing the web or just read a forum and firefox crashes. When CCC crashes I only notice it really when changing users but it has happen out of no where before. Im using 12.2 driver for the card and the newest AB. Last night i also ran a driver sweep to remove all video drivers and then reinstalled and im having the same issues. Any input will be welcome. Iv been trying to figure out the issue for a few days and i cant seem to find were the issue is stemming from.

Download and install the newest beta ati driver from guru
Download and install the newest msi afterburner beta

After you install the ati driver

Cntl alt del and end ccc.exe and try to overclock / set fan profile with afterburner

I have a problem with ccc.exe resetting my fan speed profiles when it is on.

So i removed it with autoruns from startup.

Let me know how it goes

Ok, I did that, I think some of my issue is that amd overdrive was on wtih MSI AB. So ill see if I get any more crashing but the unlocking over clock wont work, When I reset, close MSI, change the file, and reopen it all the sliders will let you slide but once you click apply it only changes fan speed not the clocks. But the switch profiles issue was resolved, thanks alot on that but any idea on the other issue?

Also looks like now it has blue screened when overclocked. Im running it stock clocks right now running gui miner to see if that changes anything. I was working at 1125/1575 1.17v no issue and then all of a sudden BOSD and i was running bitminer and surfing just this forum and it happen. Not sure if that voltage is correct or if something else is going on. Any suggestions would be awesome.

Update.... I ran over night bitminer with reference clocks and no driver crashes from what i can see but firefox still randomly closes. not sure if this is something anyone can help with but im going to try some higher clocks today to see if everything with work but i still need to know about setting the voltage and also why in AB when i unlock it I can move the sliders but when i hit apply it doesnt hold the settings. Can anyone help me? I have the CCC 12.3 and AB 220 beta 14. Should i rollback drivers? Im just lost i know this card can preform once things are set up correctly but iv been an Nvidia so im not sure if im doing something wrong.
