Intel 520 Cherryville *180GB* Retail vs Intel 520 Cherrville *240GB* OEM - £228 vs £250

Hi

I can buy 180GB Retail version from OCuk, or I could get the 240GB, but it will be OEM from WAE+ (Hardly similar in reputation, although, I am pretty sure it is a legit company).

There is the fear of course, that something is always dodgy about the OEM version - would you be concerned? (http://www.waeplus.co.uk/product/228872/Intel-Cherryville-240-GB-Internal-Solid for those wondering).

I am lost... On the one hand I want to play it safe with OCuk, but then I don't want to lose out on 60GB on paranoia...

What would you do?

with OEM there is no difference about the drive itself. only the packaging and extra accessories you get with the retail drive.
I don't know where you got the idea that OEM is inferior. but rest assured, there is no difference.

I'd only be concerned about integrity of the vendor.
