that board seems fine, and there really is no good beginners overclocking board. I'm sure once you read the overclocking guides and such you'll be on your way to overclocking like a pro

edit: I'd suggest getting an opteron, if you can get a good stepping they are overclocking monsters. Look in the online deals and see if you can find one

3500 venice is a no no...
I have seen CBBIE steppings though...get a 3200 you'll get the same OC and save a few bucks for case fans.

You should only get 1 7600GT, save money for DX10
Edit: yeah also, the cpu...change it to x2 3800 or a 3700
Crap, nvm you have the 2 7600gt and cpu...nvm

hes already got all that stuff.
i don't really like the setup, i mean it'll do just fine but i would've chosen my hardware a bit more carefully.
i mean two 7600gt's probably cost more than a 7900gt, performs worse, and uses more power. dual card setup is generally a lot less efficient than a single card setup.

anywho... generally stick to gigabyte or asus and the board will overclock just fine. i mean, i got lucky and my old ECS KN1 SLI motherboard overclocked just fine, got my X2 3800+ to 2.6ghz and actually benched higher than an fx-60... probably because of the extra memory speed no doubt... but in any case you've already got most of the performance determining parts bought so just get the rest of it and start overclocking
