Some guy is non-stop trying to hack me - Page 2

If the traffic looks like its alternating between the two signatures somewhat predictably, you might be looking at some botnet C&C server trying to contact something malicious in your network.

EDIT: Any good brute force attack doesn't really give you time breaks. Call your ISP and see if they have something more specific in their logs.

What he said, also don't run multiple antivirus programs at the same time, it can prevent them from working properly.

Edit: I was talking about Norton and MSE, Malware Bytes is fine to run alongside a traditional AV program.

Ok let me explain it a bit deeper to you, you'd seriously have to be ME to completely understand what is going on. If my PC had a malware I would be sending signals OUT, these connections are going at me, and my router is refusing them. I have 3 antivirus on.. Malware Bytes, Norton, and MSE, yes THREE, according to all security logs I have no suspicious outgoing connections. Reputation scans of all programs and processes came clean, and I checked all running processes already, and can confirm nothing is going on that I can see. So these connections are incoming. However I still am going to scan my comp and all.

The malware could have already gotten to send the signal out, and now the server that it reports to could now be trying to send that file back the data it needs to run its code.

Do a NETSTATS via the command line . See what connections are being made from you PC. If it looks bad install a good firewall to see what you can block . Comodo should do the trick.

Then check your Router logs.

Scan with malwear bytes if your still having issues .

Which do you prefer over? Reason why I use both MSE and norton is because Norton doubles as a firewall.

Well, that could happen, but looking at the log, its looks more like a attack, and a real person behind it, because looking at the times of these, they don't look automated.

That worked, the first 4 shows my connection to my own network and comp, then the follwoing 10-15, I don't know what to say. Majority of them are under "timeout" and some says established I have no idea what they are showing as the same Ip that is trying to attack me.

This could possible be a website or some sort: its in this format:

foreign address: (the ip:http)

I just said because looking at the time of the attacks they don't look automated. I'd assume that being signaled a connection every second. According to these logs they are coming at any time.

If there is a bot on his computer and it's trying to send out a signal like pioneerisloud said then it might catch it and defeat the purpose of the attacker. Also, he could of picked up something simple while browsing the internet and it's just operation out of the temp folders somewhere. It seems like the computer is targeted for one reason or another and the cleaner the computer the less information there is to steal.

OP, I wouldn't run more than one antivirus at a time like others have said because they start fighting each other and defeat their purposes.
