Doesn't it make you wonder why nvidia isn't letting reviews be released early when this card is supposed to be "UNBEATABLE".....why not have reviews out as early as possible to build more hype for your release.........or maybe someone is fibbing?

I already sold mine (SLI GTX 570's) a week+ ago since I knew it was coming soon and tried out a 7950 now biggrin.gif. It's OK, but it's going back to amazon soon-ish (not enough perf. even oc'd for 2560x1600, and ULPS issues, plus I want two cards to really ramp up performance)... I'll grab two Kepler cards so long as they don't suck.

Jan 9 release: http://www.anandtech.com/show/5319/

Whoops - heh - 2 months 2 weeks later by March 23rd. (Thanks for the correction).

Kudos to AMD for the jump on Nvidia without competition for that long. Even if the software (drivers) were premature to their hardware launch date. A lot of money AMD took off the table from Nvidia with consumers who couldn't wait, it's going to surmount to nice gains for end Q1 this year.

Now if we can get Nvidia to finally release we can start the actual competition for pricing and performance. One of the effects we're seeing with current AMD pricing is exactly what will happen if either Nvidia or AMD closes it's GPU department and we're left with only one monopoly. It's the 'Yin Yang' consumers need when two compete with each other, consumers have the upper hand and benefit most rather than have to deal with what we're handed with no other option.

Hopefully it does release. If nothing else, it'll hopefully drive 7970's price down if nVidia's price/performance ratio is notably better.
