Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 7770
8GB 1866 DDR3 RAM
2TB (total) of internal HDD space

You can squeeze more Mhz out of the TUF board. Go with the Sabertooth.
Vortez has also noted Fatal1ty's lacking OC capability.

I love my Fatal1ty, no problems and managed to squeeze a really good OC out of low VID 8150 which shouldn't have as much OC headroom.

Yes, it is possible that it may have been a firmware issue that has since been resolved. The power delivery of the ASRock board looks about as good as the Sabertooth. However, you may also have gotten a really good chip, it's hard to say.

Personally I'd go with the Sabertooth. I hate the gamer gimmick crap they are throwing onto boards. At least the Sabertooth has temperature sensors throughout the board so you can get a good reading on what may or may not be overheating.

A good chip isn't as likely for me since I did buy on release day and have had the "ILLEGAL SUMOUT" on cores 7 and 8 since day 1 at any OC.

I was actually stuck between these two boards as well, but the extra PCIe x1 slot on the Fatal1ty and the 2nd USB 3.0 internal header along with the free USB 3.0 3.5" adapter was the selling point.

And The only thing that would over heat is the NB, VRM, or CPU which are all monitored on the Fatal1ty.

I'm not really sure what you're trying to say...
I've owned/worked on 5 ASRock boards, and they were all solid, took the voltage well, and problem free. I've nevered owned a Sabertooth, but I hear only good things. Infact, the Sabertooth seems to be a CHV without all the gamer gimmicks adding to its cost. They're both amazing boards, especially for being south of $200. (I like the way they both look too)
OP, unless the features of the Fatal1ty really compel you, I say go for the Sabertooth. It is a proven standby, it will ~probably~ OC better, and it has a 5 year warranty. But what the heck, you could go with the underdog too! You're already an AMD user thumb.gif
