Thanks

oh nice... does the C2 make a difference?

i never had the c1. this is my new build after 3 years.

i got 1.345v @4.5ghz. but now just running stock because i don't like how it keeps the voltage at 1.345. i want this thing to last. not much difference on stuff like gaming when you oc.

but over all i think that's what you get. not like c1 i think most people end up like more voltage than that at same clock. but there is some vt-d or something that they put in the c2.

Ya I just meant what are you clocked at and what is that compared to others, mainly just needed your settings so I can compare..

Thanks

Use Offset on it and leave the BCLK alone since it's Unlocked and problem solved. I on the other hand, with a 3820, cannot use Offset since my chip isn't fully unlocked and have to adjust my BCLK to 125MHz for a decent OC.

offset +-0.3v?

so if i just leave it at 1.345v is it bad for the computer? in the hw monitor the wattage gets lower when idling at 1200mhz at 1.345v. wonder how that works.

yesterday tried to get it to 4.8ghz no success. even 1.42v got blue screen. not as easy as i thought on the sbe. so back to 1.345v at 4.5g. seems like the sweet spot.

so many functions on this motherboard but i am only using the multiplier and core voltage. lol.

may set it back to 3.8g because i don't think it increased frame rate in games since the 590 gets maxed out first.

hopefully this computer good for 10 years then just keep on replacing the video card. seems like each year not much improvement on hardware compared to 5 years ago the 7900gtx was high end and now we have something 6x faster (52gb/s vs 330gb/s). i doubt you can get 2000gb/s cards in 6 years from now.

Be careful there not .30, should be .030. .30 will get u up to 1.6v.

i am currently not overclocking. 3.8ghz is plenty for everything. if anything bottle neck is my gtx590.

does most people overclock just to get better benchmark? i did plenty of research and the increase from 3.8ghz to 5.0ghz in games is minimum. my computer is 100% for gaming right now, oh as a heater for my room.
