You know, I have had these sticks through my last 3 builds. AMD 630, 965BE and this setup, 3 different boards as well. I have upgraded just about everything except the memory and the video cards. I still love them both. Some hardware just works and works well. These Kingston's have never failed me and always run well tighter than spec. I'm not even throwing much voltage at them, I think 1.6850

Ok so I reduced my cpu-nb voltage to 1.3 and it is completely stable and i also reduced my ram voltage from 1.65 to 1.5 and that is also completely stable. Reducing the cpu-nb speed decreased the temp. on my cpu by a few degrees.

eh..fx nb doesn't like to go very high..IME..oo..oo..I have thread for you!

Here are shots of performance scaling with memory at 1333, 1800, and 2000. I ran the CPU intensive "Action Scene" benchmark in Far Cry 2 and this is the results of 5 loops each. FX-4100 CPU at 4500MHZ, and 2x HD 6850s at 1000core/1200mem.

DDR3-1333 CL8, NB @2000MHZ
315

DDR3-1800 CL8 NB @2700MHZ
309

DDR3-2000 CL8 NB @3000MHZ
310

It takes 1.45volts on the CPU-NB for stability at my highest setting above, and I use it 24/7. It's worth it for the extra minimum FPS in heavily CPU bottlenecked areas in games.

Hmm. At 1.45 volts my cpu northbridge was not stable at 2800mhz.
