The Sniper 3 hasn't become only mATX right? Because I really was looking forward to the full ATX Sniper 3.

Yes there's a full ATX version though it seems the UD5 will be the better board for most.

The only edge it has from the looks of it is the ability for tri/quad gpu configurations..and maybe the ps/2 port, will likely cost more too.

no bootloops with gigabyte UEFI, i think the whole issue had to do with them using their "hybrid" UEFi for P67.

Also Lucid MVP: http://gigabytedaily.blogspot.com/2012/02/lucid-virtu-mvp-what-it-is-and-why.html

Do you know how much power ivy bridge requires?, save your judgements of performance for release. That is what i am doing.

Are you suggesting that because the 3770K has a 77W TDP, an 8-pin CPU power connector is not needed? If so, why do all of the full ATX Z77 boards so far have an 8-pin EPS connector?

Seems to me like Gigabyte is just trying to cut corners again, just like they did on their P67/Z68 boards. Not to mention the G1. Sniper M3 doesn't even have a full 6 internal SATA headers, as is supported by the Z77 chipset.

And this being Gigabyte, they'll probably charge the same price as the Asus Z77 GENE board just for the "G1.Sniper" branding.

Since the Asus Z77 GENE isn't out yet, I'll just use the Rampage IV GENE for comparison:

The G1. Sniper M3 looks like a board from 5 years ago in comparison...

Hopefully other manufacturers use their brains and put the PCI slot in an actually usable position if they choose to only include one of them.

With this board I can use my CrossFire, PCI-e x1 sound card and PCI dual band wireless N card   thumb.gif
