So im thinking of building my dad a new computer for his birthday in june he uses it alot mostly for eamiling and watching tv no gaming so here are the parts im thinking of now im on a budget and please give me feedback on these items

CPU: AMD athlon ii x4 £63.95
Motherboard: ASRock A75m-ITX £72.93
Graphics: ASUS EN8400GS Low profile Already have
RAM: Kingston HyperX 8gb £33.90
PSU: 250w seasonic server power supply £42.49
HDD: Seagate barracuda 500gb £54.99
DVD drive: Laptop drive £20
Case: going to make one give it that personal touch and make it blend in with the furniture in the room
Making it around ~£290

Also space i would really like to keep to a minimum

4gb would probably be sufficient, but unless you're gaming/OCing etc buy cheaper ram.

Sorry, I forgot about the whole 4 Athlon II FM1 chips.
You would be better off actually buying an APU since the 8400 can not decode all of the formats found in HD videos.

yeh, probably better to go down Llano route and if you want get a 6770 (?) to do the hybrid crossfire
