I'll agree it's very good value compared to stuff like Dominator but I can't seem to find any on Amazon UK.

it certainly is nice RAM but if you cant find it the UK, some G.Skill RipjawsX 1600 CL8 or CL9 will do you just fine .. really 1600 is all you need thumb.gif

Paradigm84

I just bought some of this samsung ram off ebay, I live in Yorkshire so I had to buy this ram from USA, as you cant buy it in UK. Here's where I got it from on ebay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130658049228

It worked out at about £45 in end, the shipping is only a fiver and took week at most to arrive, maybe less! I also didnt need to pay import tax, im guessing they just didnt pick this one up at the port lol.

Its good ram like othes have mentioned, mines stable at 2133mhz and 9-10-10-28. Not bad considering its rated for CL11 and 1600mhz!

For folding, the faster the ram the better absolutely. For gaming though a cheap 8GB 1600mhz kit such as the g/skill ripjaws would be fine.

I've been thinking about it and I'm not sure what to get at the moment, everyone is raving about the Samsung RAM but it will look fairly awful inside the case and being fairly new to RAM I'm not convinced I'd notice much of a difference over a similar G-Skill RipjawsX set of RAM, however thanks for the links everyone and I'll keep thinking about it.

if you decide to go with the samsungs, you can pretty them up with this ram cooler, it has pretty blue LEDs thumb.gif
