I don't know what you're thinking man, but those sticks look pretty awesome installed in my P8P67 Pro, and in a black motherboard, they would look absolutely amazing.

They're black sticks, and they don't even stick out over the slot holders. If you weren't actually looking for them, it would be easy to miss that RAM is even installed. wink.gif I think they look awesome.

I know it's a stupid thing to be put off by RAM for the looks but I guess you're right pioneerisloud, currently I have 4 sticks of Crucial memory which look fairly bad in the case, but now I think about it it's probably the fact that they still have yellow and white stickers on that makes them look awful so I'll probably go for the Samsung RAM if it's substantially better in terms of price/ performance as they look fairly low profile and inconspicuous anyway..

Also coolhandluke41 I don't know if RipjawsZ has replaced the RipjawsX DIMMS, personally I think the RipjawsZ DIMMS look cooler. tongue.gif

tsm106 sadly I don't know anyone personally that would think that haha, most of my friends would be more interested in the white LED fans on the case I'm getting than what RAM I have, maybe I should try and associate with more PC-savvy people in the future biggrin.gif

Thanks for the help everyone! Samsung it is. smile.gif

I just found this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ripjaws-PC17000-2133MHz-Channel-Platforms/dp/B00687MGVK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1330781973&sr=8-4

Apparently someone overclocked it to 2400MHz so would this be better than the Samsung considering I'd be buying 16GB of either set and the prices are fairly similar? (~£120 for Samsung, ~£130 for G-Skill)

Thanks again. smile.gif

others may not agree but checking the qvl list for the mobo you pick might save you a headache.
