So far I have been looking at the Pioneer SP-BS21-LR, Dayton Audio B652, and Sony SS-B1000. Do you guys have anymore recommendations and if not which out of these will sound the best? Don't know what amp I will be using yet though will decide that after I pick the speakers. Oh I should add I listen mainly to many different types of Metal.

B652 + Lepai TA2020 is a good cheap match.

Yeah I was thinking about doing that just wanted to get some input on all the speakers before I went ahead and bought that. Need to replace the crappy cheap speakers I am using now.

So it seems like alot of you favor the Pioneers. Have any of you tried both the daytons and the pioneers? Looking to get a final opinion with someone who tried both before I buy a pair.

I own the Sony SS-B1000, using them as rear speakers in my HT setup and they rock. If you are lookin for nice desktop type mains try the SS-B3000's for a little bit more 'oomph'. As a metal fan myself i can tell ya that the Sony speakers in this line are awesome for it.
