I believe the best mousepad for the sensei is the 4hd or 9hd (same thing different size). They were, after all, designed alongside the Xai (which the Sensei is an evolution of). For cloth mousepads the best mousepad is the artisan hayate from what I have been reading but the artisan is the best mousepad for everything biggrin.gif (proud owner).

Sensei has noticeable acceleration issues on cloth mouse pads. I do not game enough in FPS'es to make the distinction myself. The hayate supposedly has about 1-2% only versus the up-to-5% of other mousepads.

Well on my tech blog we reviewed some different mouse pads, you can read them here if you like: http://www.geekfp.com/reviews/hardware-reviews/gaming-reviews/

My personal favorite is Zowie G-TF Speed edition, and I use it with my Steelseries Diablo 3 mouse. If you want a Steelseries mouse pad I will recommend their hard mats like 9HD, and why is that? Well it has come to my knowledge that mouses run faster and more precise on their HD mouse pads than their cloth pads - and take it from me, I've been using Steelseries QCK ever since I started gaming.

Good luck searching for the right mouse pad! smile.gif

I'm also a hard pad user and must say the best for me is the Razer Sphex. I've got the Mousesports edition (slightly bigger).
I used to use the white sheet as mousepad for some years and then tried some pads but I went back to the sheet eventually.
The puretrack deluxe was quite decent but not totally solid (its spongy), the sphex on the other hand is totally hard solid (as my table is) and is thin as a sheet. It is a desktop skin so once you install it I suggest not to remove it and change places (I haven't). It sticks to your desk and wont move, ever.
Since it's very cheap I think you must give it a try. Clean the surface with alcohol before installing it and take your time to place it so you don't have to do it twice. The adhesive is reusable and washable but you don't want to wear it.

I actually tried the Sensei on my Vespula as well as my Qck+ mousepad and I've got to say, I am really enjoying the Sensei + Qck combination. The Vespula isn't bad either, but the Qck is perfect for me and I haven't experienced the tracking problems others have with this mouse on cloth mats. I tried the DA but that hump in the back really cramps my style. My screen is 27 inches and 2560x1440 however, and my mouse is set at 1600cpi, so that might make a difference.
