Nice to see someone rocking the console client smile.gif my favorite. yes you should run the -smp flag for sure since thats a dual core. -smp or -smp 2 should work fine.

As for why it has made no process a reboot might not be a bad idea. What work unit is it processing right now. On my e6420 it can take a little time for some WU's

haha yeah had better luck with console clients ( my sig rig has been folding 24/7 for quite some time now )
when i add the -smp flag
it cracks the sads and says something about reading the lisence? idk :/

btw got 1% now haha see how it goes i guess.. just restarted it no flags frown.gif

but yeah got a 275 8800 q6600 and 2 x e7400 ( 2nd one building now lol ) that are also going to be folding for a bit depending on how they go (: 2nd e7400 might stop/turn into a server lol

Ya probably just a slow work unit then.

Most likely a syntax error if it tells you to list the clients. It usually says something and lists a bunch of the most common tags when you make an error like thats.

Depending on what your server needs are you can also fold on the CPU. I am running a media server off of Windows Home Server 2010 right now on my E6420 right now. While I am not folding the CPU because I cant overclock it due to the current cheap mobo (literally every part die except the CPU on that build) I am able to fold on the graphics card I have in there.

Yikes well it looks like I missed you. Might try deleting the WU to see if it is a bad one and a restart but besides that a reinstall of the client might help (although there is no real install with the console so maybe just a new download).
