That pretty much cuts my fps in half and causes shadows to go all buggy, with just one card going I'm still getting 100+ fps on average,so I'm not really going to complain too much smile.gif

32 bit is just 1 main thread + subthread for sound effects (last time i checked, 3 months ago).

Still the same as far as I understand. The 64 bit one just can use more RAM. Well and I guess they could perhaps also use 64 bit order set for a little bit of extra performance and/or optimize it a bit better knowing that the one running it WILL run a 64 bit OS. Then again I doubt that they would bother optimizing extra for that. More like compiling the exactly same code for 64 bit with some optional branches inside code depending if its compiled for 32 bit or 64 bit.

Anyway but even using the second core for sound is a little step in right direction.

Yea I have seen a decent increase in FPS as well. Did DS10 last night and never went below 60fps, on 32bit min would usually hit around 35fps

Would have to give it a shot. My concern before was stability and if it was as good as the 32-bit version. Nice to see performance increases though. I'm curious if my system performance will improve at all.

Other than that,,, that paragraph a few posts above... MY EYES!
