Today is assembly day! At least for the most part 
Sorry that it has taken so long for an update. I don't know why, but LEDs are really hard for me! They shouldn't be, but that is what has been keeping me from progressing. So yesterday I decided just to get everything put together and just work on the LEDs in the head on a later date.

Phew! Got as far as I can today! Have to get ready for work. Got everything in the body and attached the head.
Oh, and the optical drive was black. I painted it primer gray so that it could blend in better.
Tomorrow will be wire management and hopefully finishing the build.

I know that it has taken an incredibly LONG time, but the case is almost complete! I have been working on it quietly whenever I had a spare moment, and today I was able to cover up all the hardware and plug everything in.
One of the conflicts I was facing was where I was going to plug everything in. I wasn't able to have the motherboard lay flat and have the ports accessible from the side. I also didn't want to make additional holes in the AT-AT and have wires hanging from it. My decision was to bundle a few extension cables and have one piece of wire hanging from the back, and have all the ports in a box.
And here is the body of the AT-AT. Everything is seated, plugged in, and ready to go.
Tomorrow, I turn it on. I have no idea if everything will work, but I'm sure we'll find out together tomorrow!

*sigh* well, I turned it on today. Some of the fans weren't spinning, but that was easily remedied. However, nothing came up on the screen. 
I'm guessing its the extension cables. I did shave off their covers and bend them to extreme angles so that they would fit.
I just don't know where to go next. This is a real big problem.
