I really like how you did that box. Really creative. Rep for the idea

Sorry to hear about that problem, can you open up the ATAT and plug a different cord into the back of the MOBO/GPU?? Just to test it. If not, doesnt sounds like an easy fix unless its one of those too easy to overlook things like wrong source/channel on the monitor/tv

I wish it was that easy. Checking all the wires was actually the first thing that I did. I tore the whole thing apart, and I'm going to check every component individually before I do anything else.

The solution to the cable problem is simple, but requires the removal of the video card. Flipping the motherboard to have to ports facing the back would be the best thing to do, but that makes it so that the video card can't be plugged in. the only way around that would be soldering wires to the connectors and soldering straight to the motherboard, and I'm not adventurous enough to even attempt that. If the AT-AT is going to be finished, then it must be done with on-board video. thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif

Sorry guys, but I can't think of any other way around this.

Sorry for the issues you've run into. Modding is not easy at times and is a lot of work as you've witnessed first hand. I applaud you for all your hard work and for doing this really cool project. That cable extension box with Han frozen in carbonite was a cool idea to declutter the cables.
Awesome job!!! I really like the cable management your doing.. It was the single most disappointing thing about my build.. Wires ugh smile.gif

Great job and I'm glad to see you continued with your build. You really have an eye for detail

Ok! It's working!

A few things have happened since I last posted. I got another kid, a new job, and almost no time for anything else. I don't even have time for video games, but I just keep buying them rolleyes.gif

It's missing a video card, but everything fit in there just fine and works great! I still have a couple things I want to do before I officially stop working on it, but it boots up and has the mobo drivers installed. thumb.gif

I'll post pics and a vid after Christmas. Just wanted to let you guys know.

Awesome mod! Too bad about the video card, but at least it's working great otherwise!
