Blarg! I said I was going to update last night, but I fell asleep.
Okay! First thing that happened is that I screwed up the wifi antennas. I used epoxy to put the pieces back together and ended up getting the epoxy all over the guns. Now the epoxy won't come off at all and makes the guns look dirty and gross.
Next, I want to give a great big Thank You to Dwood for making an awesome fan grill for me!
I was looking for something like this for ages! And just when I was about to give up, Dwood replied to my PM and hooked me up with this great fan grill! I was thinking of painting it gloss white, but I think it looks pretty good as-is.
Since I have such little space to work with, the power supply is definitely getting a lot of work done to it. First thing I did was take the cover off and put it on a Lexan base like the motherboard.
The wires on this power supply are really long! This is good for some cases, but for this one it isn't. I decided to shorten the cords so that there won't be lots of extra wires bunched together. First one I started with was the 20+4 connector. This is the wires getting shortened:
and everything looks good!
now I just need to test it to see if everything crimped right.
